Hands-on training in Quaternary paleoecology – PalCoproSA 2026

INQUA is pleased to announce  PalCoproSA 2026, a five-day workshop bringing together field methods and cutting-edge multiproxy approaches to investigate past ecosystems through coprolites.

Participants will gain practical experience in coprolite sampling, palynology, phytoliths, ancient DNA, paleoproteomics (ZooMS), leaf-wax biomarkers, stable isotopes, and C14 modelling, alongside fieldwork at Peñas de las Trampas 1.1 and Cacao 1.A.
