Summary
Calling all Early Career Researchers! The INTIMATE Example Palaeoclimate Research Training School will take place from the 8 - 14th July 2018 in the Vosges Mountains (France) a beautiful area characterised by cirques, peat bogs and lakes. During a week of field, class and lab-based activities, centred around coring Lac de Retournemer, participants will explore the latest in palaeoclimate research methods, including:
- Dating and correlating palaeoenvironmental records
- Quantifying palaeoecological proxy data
- Using palaeoclimate model simulations
- Designing and implementing a research project
Registration is now open (registration fee: € 290) and a limited number of grants are available to support attendance.
