Summary

The Meeting will be hosted by IPHES (Institut Catalá de Paleoecologia Humana i Evolució Social).

The Meeting will be focused in the human-faunal interactions and new insights in reconstruction of past environments in archaeological deposits of different geographical regions, including as a topics taphonomy, commensalism, taxonomy, evolution, palaeoenvironmental reconstruction, biostratigraphy, biochronology and new and improved methodologies (such as morphometry, DNA or Isotope analyses).

The discussions that can be generated through a wide audience of researchers related to these topics, can give us a better understanding of how our ancestors lived and how was their relationship with the environment that surrounded them. Finally, a special issue in an international journal may arise from all these debates with the publications generated from the presentations in meeting.
